Privacy
This is the privacy notice for the Nualia website. It explains what happens to information you give us here, and what will happen to clinical information once the service is open. Nualia is not yet treating patients. Before the first scan we will publish a separate patient privacy notice covering images, reports and everything else that belongs to a clinical record, and we will ask you to read it as part of joining.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nobody. The enquiry form sends nothing to this site: it opens your own mail application. The only information we hold about you is what you choose to write to us. We never sell it, and we never pass clinical information to an employer.
Nothing that identifies you to us. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics scripts, no pixels and no cross site tracking, which is why you see no consent banner. There is nothing to consent to.
The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, it records standard server request data, including the IP address making the request, in order to deliver pages and to protect the service against abuse. We do not receive those logs and cannot link them to you.
The form on the contact page does not transmit anything to this website. When you select send, your browser opens your own email application with the message already written. The message then travels through your own email provider to info@nualia.health. If you would rather not use the form, simply write to that address yourself.
What reaches us is therefore whatever you chose to include: your name, your email address, a preferred time to be called, and anything optional you added.
We use it to arrange and hold a conversation with you, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not share your details with anyone outside Nualia. Correspondence sits in our email system and is kept only as long as it is useful for the conversation you started. Ask us to delete it and we will, and we will confirm when it is done.
We cannot give medical advice that way, and we would rather not hold clinical information in an inbox. Anything clinical belongs in a consultation, where it can be recorded properly and protected properly. If you do send clinical detail by mistake, tell us and we will remove it.
Scans and reports will be held securely within the United Arab Emirates, in line with UAE health data rules, including Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on the use of information and communication technology in health fields, which restricts moving health data generated in the UAE outside the country.
They are your images. You will be able to request a copy at any time, in a standard format, and take it to any other clinician. Retention periods for clinical records are set by UAE rules rather than by us, and the patient notice will state them precisely.
Where a company pays for memberships, the employer is told who attended and nothing more. Never a finding, never a report, never a hint of one. This is not a courtesy, it is a condition of the arrangement.
Two providers, both acting on our instructions and neither permitted to use your information for their own purposes: GitHub, which hosts this website, and Google Workspace, which carries our email. Clinical systems will be listed by name in the patient notice before the service opens.
We do not sell information to anyone, in any form, ever. There is no version of Nualia in which your data is the product.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to a particular use. Write to privacy@nualia.health and we will answer within thirty days, usually much sooner. You will never be charged for asking, and asking will never count against you.
The service is for adults. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
If we change it, we change the date below and, where the change is material, we say what changed rather than quietly replacing the text.
privacy@nualia.health reaches the person responsible for data protection at Nualia. For anything else, info@nualia.health. The legal entity operating Nualia will be named here as soon as it is incorporated.
